For the FIRST time on vinyl FOLC RECORDS Spain brings to you ¨The Greenback Blues¨ by Asteroid B612!! Recorded live during their 1996 American tour at WFMU Radio New Jersey.
The tour took them up and down and from side to side across North America and by the time they reached WFMU Radio in New Jersey the band was locked in, the testement of this lineup of the band is what you can hear in this recording of Asteroid B612 with it´s brand of Rock´n´roll but also a sense of Danger in it!! This performance was recorded by a friend of the band on a cassette deck while listeing in on the radio from his home in Philadelphia, so what you get is Asteroid B612 warts and all!! from a second generation cassette tape!! but still sounds wild!!

FOR THE FIRST TME ON VINYL!!

In Oct/Nov 1996 Asteroid B612 spent the best part of 30 days ramblin and gamblin their way up and down and from side to side across the USA, Seattle to San Diego, Tucson Thru Texas and from Atlanta to New York City and everywhere in between!!
On the night of November 21 the band found their way into the studios of the famed WFMU radio station in New Jersey for a live to air performance with the legendary Pat Duncan behind the controls, and what they played on that night is what you hear on this LP.
A good friend of the band was listening in from his home in Philadelphia and recorded the performance direct from the radio broadcast to his tape recorder, a copy of that tape was sent to Johnny Casino a few years later and with a lite touch of mastering that cassette tape produced what you hear on this LP.

Now available for the first time on vinyl thanks to FOLC RECORDS Spain!!
